Events

The ifi-Institute offers further education on various medical topics. Physicians of the metropolitan area of Hamburg as well as from whole Germany are invited.

The series “Further education Infectiology” covers varying topics on infectious diseases. Events take place 4 to 6 times a year.

The KVH workshop “Interdisciplinary Infectiology” takes place 6 to 8 times a year and the KVH is organised by Prof. Plettenberg and Dr. Stoehr. Meanwhile, there were more than 50 sessions.

The congress “Infectiology Update” takes place in Hamburg the first December weekend each year respectively. The 250 to 300 participants come from entire Germany. The most important infectious research from the last year are presented.

Moreover, the ifi-institute coordinates the two KVH-quality circles “Migration-Infectiology” and “HIV and Pregnancy”.
