Centre for Infectious Diseases
Patients with a variety of infectious diseases are attended on an out-patient or part-time in-patient basis. Six specialists in infectious diseases are available and we offer special consultations on the following:
Certification
The Institute for Infectious Diseases was certified as a “Center for Infectious Diseases” on 20th May 2005 following the guidelines of the German Association for Infectiology (DGI).
The certification by the DGI ensures that we offer highly qualified care on a broad spectrum of infectious diseases according to international standards and guidelines. The fundamentals are the personnel and spacial equipment, the quality insuring measures as well as the basic and advanced education of the staff. The institute will be officially known as centre for infectious diseases.
